About Stellar Arabians

Peter and Trina Kurzhals enjoy spreading the word about the magic of Arabian horse ownership wherever they go. They have traveled to Europe and all over the United States to meet with other Arabian horse enthusiasts, and to share their love of all things Arabian horses can bring.

Dr. Peter Kurzhals, Professional Engineer, Certified Manager

Peter Kurzhals is a retired aerospace executive, who spent many decades at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and at The Boeing Company, leading human spaceflight activities from the creation of NASA though Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Space Shuttle and the International Space Station to ensure that this country was the best of the best in human spaceflight. He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and a Member of the Academy of Engineering Excellence, selected for outstanding contributions to aerospace engineering and leadership. In addition, he has been listed in Who’s Who in the World, in Government, in Space, in Technology Today; was selected for Men of Achievement, Leaders in Electronics, and American Men and Women of Science; and has received numerous other awards. 

Peter’s association with horses date back to his childhood in Austria when he used to ride horses around the castle where he lived, including swimming them in the rivers nearby. Accordingly, he was very happy when his wife Trina showed an interest in Arabian horses, and when he was able to buy her first Arabian mare Que Serah Serah in 2008. Of course, he had to keep up, so he bought his own Arabian mare NVF Amazing Grace. Since then, both Trina and he have loved their Arabian mares and their offspring as true family. Their exposure to other Arabian horse enthusiasts has been an outstanding experience, and Peter looks forward to many more years of Arabian happiness.

Trina Kurzhals has run her own small manufacturing business for over 15 years. She too has learned that the secret of success is providing the best of the best, and she has continued this practice in working with our Arabian horses. Trina loves all our Arabian horses and enjoys breeding these magnificent creatures. Every time we visit them at the ranch, we feel rejuvenated and are forever grateful to be part of the Arabian world. 

We were truly happy when Trina’s first filly Forever Amore was selected as Silver Supreme Champion at the 2011 Las Vegas Arabian Breeders World Cup competition, and look forward to entering future competitions worldwide. In the interim, our Arabian breeding business has provided us with fantastic experiences and many memorable moments, as well as significant tax deductions.
